When is the Busiest Day to Move House?

If you're looking to move house, Friday is the best day to do it!

A recent study found that Friday is the busiest day of the week for moving house, with 38% of moves taking place on this day. The weekend is traditionally a popular time for moving house in the UK because it allows families to pack up their things and get everything ready before the new school year starts or a new job begins.

The study also found that London has the highest proportion of people moving on a Friday. It isn't surprising that many people wait until the end of the week to move. According to their findings, Friday is the most popular day for people to move because it gives them time over the weekend to pack up their belongings and find new accommodations. This leaves Saturday as the second-busiest day of moving because it gives people time Tuesday through Thursday to get used to their new home before work starts again on Monday morning.

After all, moving is hard work, and most people are busy during the week. It's only natural to want to put it off for as long as possible.

However, there are several reasons why you should consider moving on a Friday instead of waiting until Saturday or Sunday. If you're trying to get out of your current place as quickly as possible, here are a few reasons why moving on a Friday might be best for you:

-              If something goes wrong with your move and you need to reschedule it, it will be easier if you're able to do so over the weekend than if you have less time available during the week. This will help prevent any delays in getting everything done before the weekend hits!

-              If you've got children who are still at home and are used to having them around while they go about their daily lives, then they'll probably be happy when they can stay home without having to worry about missing schoolwork or other commitments due to relocation activities (such as shopping trips). Moving on a Friday means having more time off from school/work/etc., which makes things easier for everyone involved!

- Moving is physically and emotionally exhausting. People often have to deal with the stress of packing up all their belongings, getting rid of things they don't want anymore, and cleaning up after themselves before they leave. Then, once they've moved into their new home and unpacked everything—which can be a stressful process in itself—they're often too exhausted to do anything else.

- Moving requires planning. People have to find movers and make sure that those movers are available on the day they need them. They also have to make sure all their belongings are packed properly so nothing gets damaged during transit. Since this kind of planning takes time, people often put it off until later in the week when they have free time available to do it.

- Many people wait until later in the week because they don't want to spend money on something like a van rental or storage unit until they know whether or not they'll need one! If something comes up and prevents them from moving at all on Friday night or Saturday morning (for example).
