The average house prices in England have increased by 8.9% over the year to April 2021, according to the latest data released by the HM Land Registry. It takes the average property value to £268,380. It has fallen a bit compared to the 9.9% rise in the year to March 2021. This was when the stamp duty holiday was originally been scheduled to end, before being extended.

Based on the data released, London has 3.3% growth for the past 12 months, which takes an average property value of £491,687.
